Man addicted to cake, turns to hypnosis to kick habit Published Wednesday, Jan 23 2013, 16:55 GMT
A supermarket employee has kicked his habit of eating a party-sized cake every day.
Adam Williams, 29, needed hypnosis to help him stop his unhealthy habit, reports The Mirror.
After gaining weight to 15 stone and suffering from bad headaches, he decided to get help for his addiction.
Williams, of Coventry, said: "I started to suffer severe migraines and I guess that was because of all the sugar, if it was withdrawn from my body I felt horrible.
"Then I went to a hypnotherapy clinic as a desperate attempt to lose the weight as nothing else had worked."
Williams became addicted to eating the sponge cakes, which are sold to feed 40 people, after buying them at the end of his shift once they had been reduced.
